Aegadi Islands

The Aegadian Islands[1] (Italian: Isole Egadi) are a group of three islands about 10km west of Sicily in Italy. Marettimo, Aegadian Islands, Sicily The Islands Favignana - the main island, well known for its beaches. Levanzo - small, quiet and quite pretty. Marettimo - the furthest away from Sicily, with fewer boats. Attractive and good for walks. Understand Talk Get in By boat The are car ferries and much quicker hydrofoils from Trapani on Sicily to the islands - lots in Summer, with fewer during Spring, Autumn and Winter and on Sundays. Get around Levanzo and Marettimo are small enough to walk around. Most people hire bikes on Favignana to get to the beaches on the south coast.
